The Recon Ghillie is now in use by military and police units thoughout the world. Due to feedback the only changes that have been made are the threads are lighter in weight and double stitched. Also the fastening clip is a lighter tan rather than black, which will absorb and adapt to the colours of the Area of Operation that your working in. The UK Sniper Systems Mod 1 Ghillie works on the principle that a sniper spends most of their time stalking their target on their stomachs, and keeps the front clear to allow for low crawling. To allow for this Sniper skid plates are now becoming commercially available, rather than having to make your own from Shoe Goo, Duck Canvas, Cordura etc…

Note: While the ghillie beds in there will be a small amount of thread loss. This is normal and effects all ghillies, extra threads are added to compensate for this.
